Shawna Divine (Performance)
Shawna Divine, is a Baltimore-based multidisciplinary artist, cultural worker, community organizer, and founder of AFRO Aspies ROCK, a nonprofit initiative centered on autism, neurodiversity, mental health, and epilepsy awareness. Her creative practice spans music, theater, visual art, event programming, and community-centered cultural work.
As an artist and advocate, Shawna uses creativity as a tool for connection, expression, and greater awareness within marginalized communities. Her work is also informed by her experiences as a mother, caregiver, and community organizer, bringing together art, advocacy, and grassroots engagement to create spaces where people can connect, celebrate, and be seen.
