About Sahffi Lynne: Sahffi Lynne is an international singer/songwriter, musician and teaching artist who offers her music as medicine to open and transform hearts. With a performance degree from The Peabody Conservatory of Music, a #1 house music song in South Africa, five independently released albums, a 2010 and 2015 Individual Artist Award from the Maryland State Arts Council, and her band “OverGlow” who most recently performed in Peru, she sings songs channeled through her with a passion to share the medicine of music all over the world. She is also honored to offer private lessons and group vocal workshops for those ready to release their voice and fear using her own “Vocal Ladder” teaching method. http://www.sahffi.com/ About Dan La Porta: With a passion for innovatively fusing world percussion instruments from a variety of traditions, and a holistic embrace of rhythm and groove, Baltimore based multi-instrumentalist and post-production audio specialist Dan La Porta melds sounds and textures from near and far into the fold of his eclectic musical influences.  Having studied and performed across genres of classical, pop, jazz, world and improvisation, Dan holds a B.S. in Music Industry from Drexel University in Philadelphia, and has had highly influential stints of private study with frame drum master Glen Velez and cross-genre master improvisor Patrick Graham.  In addition, Dan has attended workshops and master classes given by Glen Velez, Shane Shanahan, Yshai Afterman, Todd Roach, and N. Scott Robinson, and conducts self-study in the styles of John Hadfield, Zohar Fresco, and Jamey Haddad.
